Morning!
Recently I launched my new website (this one where you are!) and had great feedback. It was a big job but I was over the moon when I saw it. Huge thanks again to Cheryl Laidlaw from Reyl Design Group, who designed it.
When I was researching for my site, I wanted to notice and find out what made me stay longer on someone else’s site. The main pages I read, after their services, were their blogs. I love reading blogs, don’t you? Blogs and success stories or case studies as many people call them, made me stay much longer. If they weren’t there, I was gone in less than a minute!
Success Stories and Case Studies allows the reader to get engaged and to know someone’s expertise through their client’s eyes and results.
I recommend you ask a few of your clients if you can write up a case study, a success story, so you can share it with others.
So, to help you, here’s 5 questions you can ask your clients to help you write your case studies:
1. Why did the person want your help in the first place?
2. What was their situation before they started work with you?
3. What did you actually do together? How did you help them?
4. What were the short term results and the client’s return on their investment?
5. What are the results were over a longer period of time, say 3, 6 or 12 months and beyond?
Reading about someone’s journey, as a buyer, can give you more insights into how they can help you and what the company can do for you.
Do you have Case Studies on your website? If not, I hope I’ve helped you to go and get one today!
If you like, you can read some of my Case Studies here.
See you soon,
To your success and happiness,
Jo James xx
