As International Women’s Day was celebrated all around the world over the weekend, you may have read many inspiring stories of how women have stood up, stepped up and created change for themselves and women worldwide. Inspiring Change is the theme of IWD2014.
You inspire me to make changes, for the better. Thank you 🙂 I am always looking at how I can improve my knowledge and update my skills to help my clients succeed and realise their potential. To find nuggets, new techniques and proven strategies to help our businesses grow. We need to adapt and change if we want to still have profitable, sustainable businesses, don’t you think?
Sometimes we need a big shift in our mindset to get a different outcome, sometimes just a small change in how we do something or what we’re saying, to ourselves and others, can make a big difference.
What can you see in your business that needs to change?
Maybe you’ve been doing the same thing for ages but expecting different results? But sadly or annoyingly, are you still getting the same results? If yes, it’s time for a change.
Making changes can pull on your heart strings, can give you those butterflies in your stomach, but change is so important. Otherwise we stifle, suffer or suppress our true selves. And that doesn’t help us or our clients.
Adapting your business is key to your success.
For example, one of my Creative Mastermind clients identified a very important change was needed. She realised she had to change where she worked. Rather than spending all day, every day in her home office, she is going to join a members only business club again. With people around her she feels more energised, is more productive and inspired. Joining a group and getting out to be around others has certainly helped me too, I’ve gone stir crazy in the past!
Where can you go to feel more energised and inspired?
Here’s a few suggestions:
1. Is there a virtual office or business club near you? Ping me an email if you want details of different places to work.
2. Book an upcoming event specialising in your industry, they’re great for inspiration and making connections.
3. Visit an Art Gallery to get your creative juices flowing again. Maybe take a client with you or someone in your network and see what ideas you get together.
Or do all three and notice the difference it makes to you and your results. Let me know what works best for you.
To your success and happiness, get out and get inspired today!
See you soon,
Jo James xx
