Have you ever noticed that sometimes the person that can help you the most is right under your nose or already in your circle of influence?  But sometimes they’re so close we miss them!

It’s of course helpful to work out what you’d like help with first of course!

Are you trying to think about everything all by yourself? People are usually happy to help you, if they know how you want to be helped or who you want to be introduced to.  So, 

Work out who you want to be introduced to and why.

Making time to connect with your top influencers can really help you build your business.  Seek out people that have the same target market as yourself but offer different services.

For example a divorce lawyer is a top influencer for an IFA, an Independant Financial Advisor.  The client will need financial help, so the lawyer recommends their contacts to the IFA which gives a great service to their clients as more things are organised for them. And at the same time they are winning more clients for each other and building their businesses.

It’s great to have these people on your side, looking out for you, being one of your team.     It feels good working together.

Take some time to identify who may be good influencers in your circle?

I bet you know them already! Book some time to get to know them better and develop the relationships. Through trust and understanding more business opportunities will appear. 

Make a point of meeting  with these influencers regularly, either at networking events, or on a one to one basis.

And of course return the favour.  Who can you help?
