1. Are you going to respond to emails while you’re on holiday?  OR are you employing a VA to track your emails, respond to clients and issue invoices while you’re away?

2.  Are you going to have a social media holiday too? OR are you going to schedule tweets and posts on Hootsuite or line them up in Buffer?

3. What project work can you delegate to your VA or members of staff?

4. Have you put your out-of-office reply on your emails with an alternative contact details for any urgent requests?

5. Phone your clients before you go away so you know they’re ok.  I do this every time and go away with peace of mind.

6. Call some of your contacts before you go; either prospects, clients or people in your network and arrange 3  meetings for when you get back.  It’s a good feeling when you get back – you can open your diary and see meetings already booked in.
